The countdown is on and we are all hands on deck getting ready to welcome you and make this music, wine, food & friends festival the best you have experienced so far.
Yesterday we talked about wonderful Napa-based culinary options from restaurants and dining venues sponsoring this event. Today I want to take a moment to highlight awesome vintners & wineries who will be pouring their best at BottleRock 2014
Ceja Winery
Ceja is very dear to our heart. In fact our head concierge Javy spent five years of his career in the wine industry refining his knowledge with help and affection of the Ceja family. Ceja Winery produces a delectable Pinot Noir, a gorgeous Chardonnay and a dreamy Merlot. Additionally Ceja is home to their custom-blended red vino de casa, so balanced you can enjoy it from sunrise to sunset. We often pair it with our huevos con chorizo brunch. The owners, Amelia, Pedro, Armando & Marta are one of the very first Mexican-American families to establish a winery with full control of the whole process from root to table. You can find our very dear friends the Cejas at the Toshiba Main Stage where they will be offering a lovely selection of their wines. Not ones to miss out in the fun, the Cejas have built a life-size Jenga game to add to the enjoyment of the festivities. Come join them for a game and glass of their wine produced with love.
Miner Wines
This is the second year the Miner family partakes in the celebration of BottleRock. Miner debuted with their first vintage in 1996. Dave and Emily transitioned from a career in tech to the magical world of wine making. Their style is highly individualistic and generates complex and beautiful wines. By running a full vine-to-wine operation the Miners are able to control every element, albeit nature that goes into making masterpieces for the palate. To say that Miner wines ROCK! is not at all an understatement.
Del Dotto Vineyards
A small production winery dedicated to mastering premium wines. Del Dotto is home to one of the earliest wine caves in Napa, hand-dug by Chinese immigrants in the late 1800’s. Their candlelit cellars are romantic beyond words and their wines are equally passionate.
Mi Sueño Winery
The word sueño means dream in Spanish. Mi Sueño winery is the dream of Rolando Herrera, an immigrant from El Llano Michoacan who has relentlessly tackled every obstacle placed on his way and has positioned himself as a premium producer of Pinot Noirs & Cabernets. What a delight to see Rolando pouring at BottleRock this year. Truly a dream come true!!
We are so thrilled to be working side-by-side with these wineries. They are a treasure to the wine industry and we love to introduce our guests to producers of their caliber. If you are here for the festival we wish you a fantastic & fun-filled time and look forward to meeting you. On your next wine tasting adventure, give us the pleasure of hosting you and together we can discover the newest rising stars of wine making in our beautiful Napa Valley.
